Alabama River Fishing

In 24 hours..Business in PCB was cover to head down to the Hook. West was my man. Downtown, the local puss factor was at an all time high. Rolling Eyes

Hit the tide going out. Roll the dice on perfect conditions at 1 day out of 365. Odds ain't nice. The Cape was ugly. Howlin' wind and chop. Nothing but stingrays. West making the best out of 3 hours of sleep.

100 yards over and across. Flat, clear open water, no wind. Totally weird.

Ground swell picked up around 3:00pm. The beach seemed to be the best bet. Chased a few bait fish schools. I seem to have a knack for digging out lesser targeted species on the fly. Deceivers on a sink-tip. These guys were relentless.

..Damn..I would have swapped Fat-Tires for a decent slimy ass'd ladyfish.

Catching up with West bested what we didn't catch..Sunset..Head north.

James..The cooler was all junked up with beer. Manhole covers were the last thing that I thought we would hook. After number 9, I trying to buy West out and send him shopping for back-up ice box.

DWB...One of the now numerous BG 4/5's..I am still struggling with using the one I got from you..Mint...Crisp..Mint..
