Alabama River Fishing

Anybody got any idea about if it is worth trying to chase them this weekend? Thought about staying close to home and hitting some water around here just don't know of it would be worth my time. What the he!!, it will be better than sitting at home anybody want to go?

i'll be around the gump. no idea what will be fishable, i guess we'll see what the rain does fri and sat. i kinda want to hit the chattahoochee for a shoalie and possible stripe.

Some hybrids are starting to show up in the tallapoosa and the Spots are on a prespawn feeding binge behind the house a friend caught a 6.7 and a 7.1 yesterday in 20 min of fishing . The backyard is hot this year My youngest grandson has 1 over 5 lbs this year from the back yard..

Depending on the weather and thurlow dam it sounds like a plan. I would most likely meet you there since the gump would be out of the way. Any problems with parking a shuttle vehicle at Roy's?

I just looked at the release schedule for thurlow and it is showing 1 turbine for the next 3 days at 641cfs which is no problem. I don't want any part of what those guys got caught in a few years ago. That river went from nice and gentle to a beast in no time flat.

Either day. Can't be too late on Saturday, my anniversary. Like you said depends on the weather. Sunday would probably be better for me.
