Real-time Florida River Levels- Next to rod and reel, a river
fisherman's best friend. Allows you to click on your favorite river and see
the water level. Extremely useful web site by the USGS. Your tax dollars at
work!
The Weather Channel- See what Mother Nature has in store for that
upcoming river trip!
Maptech Mapserver- Maptech's free online topographic maps allow you
to explore a river's course and access points from your computer. Once you
get the hang of the website, this is a great resource!
Google
Earth- This is absolutely amazing! Download Google Earth's software
(it's free) and you now have satellite photos of your favorite river at
your disposable. Zoom in and check out that river you've been wondering
about!

Florida Canoe
Trail Guide- This website is awesome!
It's officially called "Florida's Greenways and Trails" and is
divided up by region. You can find river descriptions, maps, and
access points to many of Florida's best and most pristine rivers!
FWC's
Freshwater Fishing Forecasts- Get a
good idea of what you can expect to catch in many of Florida's lakes
and rivers. Also has tips on what the fish are biting and river
access!
FWC's Regional Fishing Guides- In PDF format, FWC provides fishing
guides for the
Central
Region, the
Northeast Region, the
Northwest
Region, the
South Region,
and the
Everglades!
Central Florida
Kayak Trips- A very informative
website! Once you get there, click "Trips" and then "Freshwater
Trips". You will find descriptions of many rivers with pictures and
great information about access points.
Florida Sportsman-
The granddaddy of Florida outdoor magazines. Devoted largely to
saltwater, FS occasionally has good articles about river fishing.
Florida Game & Fish
Magazine- The website of another
popular Florida outdoor publication.
Freshwater Boat
Ramps- From the FWC site, a
comprehensive listing (by region) of every FWC boat ramp in the
state (lots of them are on rivers!).
Florida State Parks
Guide- Many of Florida's state parks
have river access. Here is the best way to find state parks near
you!
Florida Outdoors-
A guide to almost anything you'd want to do outdoors in Florida. Of
particular interest to FRFer's will be the river descriptions, boat
ramp list, and information on just about anything you could possibly
need.
GORP's Florida Paddling Guide-
Provides some good reading about potential paddling (and fishing)
destinations in Florida.

is a public message forum that has lots of information about some

Florida Fish and
Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)-
Fishing licenses, rules and regulations, boat registration, fishing
tips, boat ramp information. You could spend hours on this site!
It's the best state Department of Natural Resources-type site I've
ever seen!
Florida Wildlife Federation-
FWF is devoted to conserving Florida's natural resources. You can
also access the latest editions of FWF's Florida Fish & Wildlife
