Family Float trip

I want to take the family on a river float trip. We have river floats and it will be recreational for them and fishing for me as we drift along.
We would like to end up at the gervais st bridge. The problem is we don't know where we can put in up the river. We would like a couple of hours to a half day trip.
Can anyone give us some info on where to put in. Public or pay access is fine. directions or address and fees will be needed.

At the zoo on the saluda River and at the Diversion Dam on the Broad river. People float those all the time. You can go to Rose wood Ramp also which gives you some more water.
