Little Pee Dee headwaters

Went to a stretch of the river that I have never fished before. Even with the river rising recently due to the rain it was still pretty low up there. It would be perfect for you kayakers. I caught 7 small bass and 3 mudfish in 2.5 hours. Not to bad considering I did not figure out the pattern until the last 30 min. I was there. To RiverRat there are alot of gators close to the coast but not many up the river. I would not want to kayak or canoe the Big Pee Dee. That is a big river with a heavy flow...more suited to johnboat or bass boat.
